Job Purpose

As an Usher/Greeter, you will be the friendly face that welcomes congregants and newcomers alike. Your role is vital in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for all attendees, ensuring that everyone feels valued and connected.

Key Responsibilities

Warm Welcome:

- Greet congregants and newcomers with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Make everyone feel welcome and valued as they enter the church.

Seating Assistance:

Assist attendees in finding seating, ensuring a smooth and organized process.
Help congregants with special seating requests, as needed.

Information Sharing:

Provide information about church services, programs, and events to newcomers and attendees.
Distribute bulletins or any relevant materials to congregants.

Offer Assistance:

Be available to assist attendees with any questions or needs they may have.
Offer support and guidance when required.

Hospitality:

Ensure that the church environment is clean and welcoming.
Assist in maintaining order and cleanliness in common areas.

Requirements:

A friendly and welcoming demeanor.
Punctuality and reliability in fulfilling your ushering duties.
A genuine willingness to help and assist congregants and newcomers.
